About the Department
The department of Mathematics was established in the year 2003-2004. Mathematics develops computational skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills. The theory and the techniques taught in Mathematics courses are especially important in today's society. The Department of Mathematics recognizes this and strives to ensure that the student obtains this knowledge. The department is guided by the following vision.
Vision
To become a recognized center of excellence committed to the advancement of Mathematical and scientific Knowledge and innovations. To provide opportunities for advanced theoretical and practical learning to post graduate students in Mathematics and also to produce significant research in Mathematics by publishing and disseminating research results, knowledge and innovations to Society.
