The Centre for Admission and Affiliation is entrusted with the task of monitoring the admission and affiliation process. The Centre prepares the Academic Calendar and monitors the admission process accordingly. The Centre draws up the date slots for admission as per the guidelines issued by the State of Tamilnadu and circulated to all the affiliated colleges. The Centre sends circulars to all the affiliated colleges to adhere to the reservation policy of the State Government.

All matters related to the admission process of the University and the affiliated college is undertaken by the Centre as per Tamilnadu state Government norms. The center is entrusted with the task of assisting the Registrar and the Vice Chancellor in preparing the Inspection Committee for Fresh and continuation affiliation, conducting the affiliation Committee meeting and to get it approved in the Syndicate of Thiruvalluvar University. The Centre is responsible for following the affiliation schedule drawn up the University.
